Rammstein Fire Off Insane Pyro in ’Du Hast’ Live Performance

Rammstein: Paris is out now and if you somehow haven’t been impressed by the visual spectacle captured in the clips released thus far, you may want to check out this performance of “Du Hast.”
The new DVD from Germany’s industrial legends is a spectacle of mammoth proportions given to us by director Jonas Akerlund, who’s known for directing clips from Metallica, Madonna, Beyonce and more of music’s biggest superstars. Let’s not forget that Akerlund made Rammstein’s pornographic “Pussy” video and a number of other clips from the German legends.
This video of “Du Hast” is all about the fans. Vocalist Till Lindemann lets the massive crowd sing the first verse of “Du Hast” as countless camera angles capture the masses going off for Rammstein’s signature song. It’s beautifully shot and the kind of concert video that makes you wish you had been in attendance that night in 2012.
Near the end, Lindemann comes out with what looks like the most terrifying shotgun ever constructed, but instead of shells, the thing is filled with fireworks. After Lindemann shoots off the rockets, more fireworks come back his way, causing the entire stage to explode with chaotic pyro. Unless you’ve seen Rammstein live, you’ve never seen anything like this at a rock concert before.

Arch Enemy to Release New Album in September, Plot Fall Return to North America

Alissa White-Gluz has kept Arch Enemy moving ever-forward since being tapped as the replacement for Angela Gossow, who stepped away from the band, sticking with them in a managerial role instead. Will to Power will serve as the follow-up to 2015’s War Eternal, arriving on Sept. 8 through Century Media.
The band broke the news on Facebook with the promise of a new album coinciding with a string of European tour dates which will officially mark the beginning of the Will to Power touring cycle. After pummeling the European festival circuit over the summer, Arch Enemy will hit the road in Eastern Europe, Austria, Finland and Russia starting Sept. 15. Following this run, the Swedish melodeath masters are aiming for a return to North America in October and November.
“After many months of writing and recording in the studio we are delighted to have finally completed work on our 10th studio album, Will to Power. We are looking forward to sharing new music with you soon,” said guitarist and founder Michael Amott, adding, “We are equally excited to announce the first leg of our Will to Power world tour… Can’t wait to play new and old songs for our fans, see you all soon!”
Arch Enemy fans are already having a solid 2017 as the band’s first live DVD with Alissa White-Gluz, As the Stages Burn!, was released in March. The footage was culled from the band’s 2015 set at Wacken Open Air which featured their largest stage production to date.
